According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first half of this year, the export of wires and cables in Fujian Province reached 6.52 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 85.5%. The export scale ranked fourth in the country, and the growth rate was the highest among provinces with wire and cable exports exceeding 2 billion yuan.

Foreign invested enterprises play a leading role in the export of wires and cables in Fujian Province and are developing rapidly. In the first half of this year, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian Province exported wires and cables worth 5.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 152.6%, accounting for 87.6% of the total value of wire and cable exports in Fujian Province during the same period. Hong Kong and ASEAN are the main export markets for wires and cables in Fujian Province. In the first half of this year, exports to Hong Kong amounted to 1.09 billion yuan and exports to ASEAN amounted to 960 million yuan. In addition, it has made strong efforts to explore emerging markets and exported 660 million yuan to Latin America, a year-on-year increase of 78.5%.
