Under the scorching heat wave, major projects in Wuhan are steadily advancing. The Wuhan Lianghu Tunnel Project is currently under hot construction, and the relocation and reconstruction of pipelines related to the supply of electricity, tap water, heat and other livelihood resources are progressing smoothly. Among them, the Qinyuan Road section of the Lianghu Tunnel (Donghu section) project has completed the comprehensive relocation of 12 kilometers of power cables.

Among them, the Qinyuan Road section of the Lianghu Tunnel (Donghu section) project has completed the comprehensive relocation of 12 kilometers of power cables.


Recently, at the power cable relocation site at the intersection of Qinyuan East Road and Shahu Avenue in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, as the staff of State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company completed the final batch of cable joints under the scorching sun, it was announced that the 12 kilometer power cable relocation project of Qinyuan Road section in the Two Lakes Tunnel was fully completed.



It is understood that the two lake tunnel power relocation project includes two sections, Qinyuan Road and Donghu Road. At present, 11 power cables with a total length of 12 kilometers within the Qinyuan Road section have been relocated out of the red line of the construction tunnel and all have been relocated to the newly built cable trench. After all cable joints are completed and pass the withstand voltage test, the power cable relocation project of the entire Qinyuan Road section can be completed. After the completion of the project, it can not only accelerate the construction progress of the Lianghu Tunnel body project, but also eliminate the hidden dangers of external power facilities, comprehensively help improve traffic efficiency and update the urban appearance, "said Wu Jinfeng, deputy team leader of the high-voltage service operation and maintenance team of the Wuhan Power Supply Center of State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company.



During the construction period of the Lianghu Tunnel project, Wuhan experienced sustained high temperatures, and a high temperature warning was issued for two consecutive days from July 15th to 16th. On the 16th, the highest temperature was close to 40 degrees Celsius. During the power outage operation of the relocation and reconstruction line, State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company transferred the power supply channels through the automation operation of the distribution network to ensure normal power supply around the construction area. During the construction period, we ensured the normal and reliable power supply in the relocation area by transferring the load of the power supply line, allowing surrounding residents to enjoy a cool breeze, "said Wu Jinfeng.


The Wuhan Lianghu Tunnel Project starts from Qinyuan Road and Donghu Road in the north, passes through Donghu and Nanhu, and connects to the Third Ring Road in the south, forming a north-south expressway parallel to Luoshi Road. After the completion of the Lianghu Tunnel, it will become the main artery of transportation in the Jiangnan area of Wuhan, greatly improving the efficiency of citizens' travel and the city's carrying capacity.
