On July 22, in order to ensure the stability of power supply in the jurisdiction, Xunyang Company organized a power distribution operation and maintenance team to carry out special inspection and temperature measurement work for heavy-duty lines during the peak load period to escort the "healthy" operation of power grid equipment.

With the continuous rise in temperature, high-power electrical appliances such as air conditioners and refrigeration equipment are frequently used, and some lines are operating under heavy loads. Every evening, during the peak period of electricity load, the staff rushes to the area where the heavy-duty lines are located, not letting go of any details that may be hidden dangers. During the inspection, the staff used the infrared thermometer to accurately measure the temperature of the wire clamps, knife gates, cable heads and other heat-prone parts of the line. Once the temperature abnormality is found, the relevant data is immediately recorded in detail, analyzed and judged, and targeted treatment measures are formulated. At the same time, the surrounding environment of the line is also carefully inspected to clean up debris that may affect the safety of the line and ensure that the line passage is unblocked.

In addition to manual inspection, Xunyang Company also makes full use of the intelligent monitoring system to conduct 24-hour real-time monitoring of heavy-duty lines to achieve all-round and no blind spot hidden danger investigation.
